16 weeks

Our Lil Baa,
We have been reading you stories and eagerly awaiting feeling you move! I am not exactly sure what I am looking for but I think I'll just know what it happens. I have definitely felt stretching and other weird sensations, also a couple of funny possible flutters, but nothing that I could really say was a "move" or a kick. We will know what you are coming up soon...21 days. I can't believe that simply 29 days separates us from seeing you again, and knowing if you are our son or daughter! :) You make us so happy and excited already; we can't wait to hold you in our arms for the first time!
I am reading that you are going to be growing A LOT; in the next few weeks and that so many fun things are going to happen from finding out who you are, feeling you move, hearing your heartbeat, and actually seeing your sweet profile! Last time we saw you, you like like an adorable little gummy bear, now you actually look like a little person!
I am feeling a bit better now that we are into the second trimester. Not AS nauseous, still pimply, hot, and have to pee a lot, but those things are nothing! It is so wonderful seeing you grow inside me and your little bump starting to show on my tummy!
We love you and hope you can hear us talking to you and reading you stories. ;) See you soon...

15 weeks!

Well little one you will be 15 weeks tomorrow! We went to your MW appointment today and everything was good! We heard your heart beat (it was b/w 150-160) and it was funny because we would hear it and then we couldn't; the MW said it was because you were moving around so much, so she finally found you and we got to hear it for awhile! We will know if you are our 'son' or 'daughter' at our next visit on October 19th right before daddy goes away on his business trip! We also will be doing the hospital tour on October 24th to check out where you will be born. :)

We got fingerprints done today too to get the ball rolling for starting the home childcare; it will be so nice to be able to stay home with you and watch you grow. I just hope and pray that everything turns out okay with getting that up and running in time and getting enough children to fill the spots! It will be fun for you having friends to play with, I hope you understand that we need to make sure that the other children get a lot of love and attention too!

I put together all the music on your BaaPod today and so far you are the only fetus I know that has their own ipod! We are going to be listening to music, talking to you, and reading you books-can't wait to meet you! We love you so much already!

lots of love,
Mommy (& Daddy)

updates little one...14 weeks

Sweet little one,

Well fun updates from the outside world: I threw up for the first time since I was 17 on Tuesday September 8th, 2009. That's a big thing for me as I have only thrown up 3 times that I can remember in my life, once at 5, once at 16 and then again at 17...now here we are adding 23 to the mix, but that's okay sweetness you are already so worth it!

Daddy and I have been shopping a lot and finding great clothes, blankets, and things for you. Although we do not know yet whether you are a girl or a boy, we get both because you will have sibling someday! We did do the Intelligender test to see what you are and both times it said girl. Great Aunt Jean asked you and she told us you said boy, so we will see! Our next doctor's appointment is Sept 18th (in 6 days) and we can't wait to hear your heartbeat again. Also we are going to talk to them about the Rhogam shot as we think daddy is a negative blood type too, if so you will definitely be negative. Also we get to schedule the big 20 week ultrasound to see how big you have grown and hopefully you will show us your goods and we can know whether you will be Mr. Olin Matthew or Ms. Sage (or Sophi) Amelia. (that's what we got so far)...

Well daddy is going away on business for training for 2 whole weeks, so make sure you kick and act all cute before he leaves (no pressure we love you either way). Apparently you are getting to the age where we can talk to you and read books and sing and you can hear us. So you and I are listening to Psalty in the car and I sing :) Daddy is going to start reading you books, but he has already been talking to you and giving you kisses everyday. We love you so much and can't wait to hear your little heart beat, see your sweet ultrasound picture, and your sweet smiling face!

Lots of love,
Mommy (&daddy)

dreaming and in love....

I keep dreaming about you, or the idea of you (whichever gender you are). I am dreaming about this sweet baby (this time you were a boy) who is so easy going and happy. You sleep through the night, beastfeed so beautifully, we have such a wonderful bond, and I just love you so much... but then when the alarm goes off I find myself holding on so tightly to the sleep that brings us close together...

man I love you so much already- it's insane!!
