Christmas Eve 28w5d

Merry Christmas Eve Little Love!

Your daddy and I were just talking about how much fun this day will be for you soon. We can't wait to share Christmas with you!

Right now we are enjoying taking birthing classes, feeling you move, setting up your room, and preparing for you :)

You are getting so big now and will keep growing quickly until you are born. We love you so much little Lilah!

25 weeks, almost 26...

Lilah,

Daddy has been feeling you move a lot now! You are so amazing we just love you so much. :) You are getting so much bigger everyday and my belly is getting rounder. I love to feel you move around inside my tummy it is so amazing. We are going to be starting birthing class next tuesday (it was supposed to be this week but the teacher was very sick) so they moved the first one to next week). I can't wait to learn techniques to help me relax and have daddy there helping the whole time you are coming into this world. We are going for the glucose test on Saturday December 19th to make sure we don't have Gestational Diabetes and that our blood is healthy. The paperwork for the childcare is all done and ready to be sent in :) I have to do that tomorrow-wow I just can't believe how close we are to meeting you, how close we are to holding you, seeing your beautiful face, and how close we are to becoming a family. We are getting everything ready in your room and it is mommy's Birthday on Monday :)

We love you so much already and love to sit and feel you move while we image how you look and if you have mommy's chin, daddy's eyes, and what your personality will be like!

Lots of love, keep growin' in there!

24 weeks today (she is measuring almost 25)

Pregnancy thus far has been a breeze! Anything that bothers me is so insignificant that I barely remember it or register it as anything different from something bothering me when i am not pregnant! I get winded when climbing stairs, sleeping is getting MUCH trickier (hip pain and you sit on my bladder), very HUNGRY, but really nothing HUGE those things are so little!

I cannot WAIT to get your bedroom together, daddy and I are so busy getting everything picked out and ready so it is perfect for you. :)

We are also opening a home childcare so we are VERY busily trying to get that together so I don't have much to do when the you come and I can open after about a month and a half bonding time with you :)

Feeling good! I can't believe you will be here in 3 and a half months!! Love you so much already...our beautiful little girl! :)

Daddy felt you move!!

Hey little girl! Daddy felt you move last night (11/11/09)!! It was so exciting, you kicked him!! :) We read you your nightly story of Goodnight Moon and then snuggled and talked. I felt you moving all around so I put daddy's hand on my belly and you kicked him twice!! I am so excited he got to feel you like I been! We love you so much! Keep moving in there and grow to be big (not toooo big) and strong....

Daddy's home!!!

So daddy is home now! It's so wonderful to have him here again ;) He has been reading to you, giving you kisses, and today sang you a lullaby he really likes to help you sleep (Goodnight My angel by Billy Joel) It was so sweet! I still haven't gotten him to feel you, even though I swear you are kicking hard enough, he still doesn't feel it...pretty soon I am sure we just have to catch him at the right moment and you gotta give him a BIG ONE! :)

We love you so much!

I 'touched' you!

Yesterday (11/4/09) I actually got to 'touch' you! You were moving around and kicking A LOT last night while I was reading my Bradley book (maybe childbirth got you all riled up?) and I initially thought you might have the hiccups because the movement was spaced out.....kick....kick....kick....kick, but then it stopped (not sure if those were hiccups). THEN you started rolling around and kicking hard (didn't hurt at all) and I reached down to put my hand on my belly where I felt it, and you kick my hand!! :' ) about 4-5 times! You are such a strong little girl! I called your daddy right away (he comes home tomorrow!! YAY!) and told him about it! You will have to give him a love kick when he gets home! :)

We love you Lilah! Our sweet baby girl!

The Flu...

Oh baby girl if only you knew... I am trying so hard to make the right decision for us! I don't like vaccines and don't want to get it, but I also don't want us to get sick or hurt us in anyway. So I am trying to find it and have so far had no luck :( I will keep looking until I find it.

Daddy is away and I miss him terribly. Can't wait until he gets home and can be with us again. He is doing well on his training though and will be home in 3 days!!

I love you so much!

Little Girl

Little Girl you are moving around all the time! I am starting to get to feel your sleeping patterns and movements, even your little kicks. :) We read to you every night and daddy gives you a kiss for each of us.

We love you so much!

you are beautiful!

so yesterday October 19th, 2009, we got to see your beautiful face ! You are a sweet little girl we were told and have such great pictures of you! You posed with your hand under your chin, such a sassy little girl already! We love you so much and can't wait to meet you! Also we went in thinking you were 19 weeks ad 2 days, but they said you were measuring 20 weeks and 1 days! What a beautiful healthy little girl! I am so glad you are growing and that I can protect you while you grow. :)

We love you <3

16 weeks

Our Lil Baa,
We have been reading you stories and eagerly awaiting feeling you move! I am not exactly sure what I am looking for but I think I'll just know what it happens. I have definitely felt stretching and other weird sensations, also a couple of funny possible flutters, but nothing that I could really say was a "move" or a kick. We will know what you are coming up soon...21 days. I can't believe that simply 29 days separates us from seeing you again, and knowing if you are our son or daughter! :) You make us so happy and excited already; we can't wait to hold you in our arms for the first time!
I am reading that you are going to be growing A LOT; in the next few weeks and that so many fun things are going to happen from finding out who you are, feeling you move, hearing your heartbeat, and actually seeing your sweet profile! Last time we saw you, you like like an adorable little gummy bear, now you actually look like a little person!
I am feeling a bit better now that we are into the second trimester. Not AS nauseous, still pimply, hot, and have to pee a lot, but those things are nothing! It is so wonderful seeing you grow inside me and your little bump starting to show on my tummy!
We love you and hope you can hear us talking to you and reading you stories. ;) See you soon...
Mommy & Daddy

15 weeks!

Well little one you will be 15 weeks tomorrow! We went to your MW appointment today and everything was good! We heard your heart beat (it was b/w 150-160) and it was funny because we would hear it and then we couldn't; the MW said it was because you were moving around so much, so she finally found you and we got to hear it for awhile! We will know if you are our 'son' or 'daughter' at our next visit on October 19th right before daddy goes away on his business trip! We also will be doing the hospital tour on October 24th to check out where you will be born. :)

We got fingerprints done today too to get the ball rolling for starting the home childcare; it will be so nice to be able to stay home with you and watch you grow. I just hope and pray that everything turns out okay with getting that up and running in time and getting enough children to fill the spots! It will be fun for you having friends to play with, I hope you understand that we need to make sure that the other children get a lot of love and attention too!

I put together all the music on your BaaPod today and so far you are the only fetus I know that has their own ipod! We are going to be listening to music, talking to you, and reading you books-can't wait to meet you! We love you so much already!

lots of love,
Mommy (& Daddy)

updates little one...14 weeks

Sweet little one,

Well fun updates from the outside world: I threw up for the first time since I was 17 on Tuesday September 8th, 2009. That's a big thing for me as I have only thrown up 3 times that I can remember in my life, once at 5, once at 16 and then again at 17...now here we are adding 23 to the mix, but that's okay sweetness you are already so worth it!

Daddy and I have been shopping a lot and finding great clothes, blankets, and things for you. Although we do not know yet whether you are a girl or a boy, we get both because you will have sibling someday! We did do the Intelligender test to see what you are and both times it said girl. Great Aunt Jean asked you and she told us you said boy, so we will see! Our next doctor's appointment is Sept 18th (in 6 days) and we can't wait to hear your heartbeat again. Also we are going to talk to them about the Rhogam shot as we think daddy is a negative blood type too, if so you will definitely be negative. Also we get to schedule the big 20 week ultrasound to see how big you have grown and hopefully you will show us your goods and we can know whether you will be Mr. Olin Matthew or Ms. Sage (or Sophi) Amelia. (that's what we got so far)...

Well daddy is going away on business for training for 2 whole weeks, so make sure you kick and act all cute before he leaves (no pressure we love you either way). Apparently you are getting to the age where we can talk to you and read books and sing and you can hear us. So you and I are listening to Psalty in the car and I sing :) Daddy is going to start reading you books, but he has already been talking to you and giving you kisses everyday. We love you so much and can't wait to hear your little heart beat, see your sweet ultrasound picture, and your sweet smiling face!

Lots of love,
Mommy (&daddy)

dreaming and in love....

I keep dreaming about you, or the idea of you (whichever gender you are). I am dreaming about this sweet baby (this time you were a boy) who is so easy going and happy. You sleep through the night, beastfeed so beautifully, we have such a wonderful bond, and I just love you so much... but then when the alarm goes off I find myself holding on so tightly to the sleep that brings us close together...

man I love you so much already- it's insane!!

Almost to Tri2!

So my lil' lime,
You are about to graduate from embryo to fetus! So exciting! We did the Intelligender test and it looked like you might be a girl! We will see at the BIG ultrasound (maybe in October) when we get to see you again. :) We went to the see the MW and got to hear your sweet heartbeat which was amazing 170 beats per minute! What an amazing day to lay there so quietly and hear your woosh wooosh woosh of your little heart beating so fast! I'm going to tell you right now that your daddy is going to be the most wonderful man in your life. He is being so good to us already, helping me to do everything so that I can rest and take care of you, he is going to be so wonderful with you, you wait and see! You will be able to hear us soon too, we talk to you every day and night and daddy even rubs my belly and puts lotion on it while he talks to you. We found out something very intersting at the MW's appointment when we went...my blood type in B- ! That is so weird because your grandma, grandpa, and great grandpas are B+ so we just thought I was, but I am not. B- is actually pretty rare and when you have a - blood type you have to get a special shot to make sure my body doesn't fight off any future babies. Good thing you will be okay (and so will the other babies), we just do the shot just in case!
As far as how I am feeling... well right now, nausea everyday (but no throwing up!), acne (but it is seeming to be getting a little better), tired, and very HOT all the time. Daddy is taking such good care of us, he is so wonderful I don't know what we would do without him!

Names we are thinking for you:
BOY: Olin Matthew
GIRL: Lucy (LuLu), Penelope (Penny), Sage Amelia, Eden...

Well that's all for now! Almost everyone knows about you now, we are having a BBQ to celebrate the engagements of Molly and Joel and Uncle Eric and Aunt Krista (whose wedding you will be going to next fall), your growing in mommy's tummy, grandpa's birthay, and your new house! So much to celebrate, wish you were here--we love you and can't wait to meet you!
xoxo
Mommy (& Daddy)

11 weeks 3 days....

Your baby continues to grow and is now approximately the size of a large lime! The crown-to-rump length of your developing child is 1.75 to 2.4 inches. The weight of the fetus is approximately 8 grams at this point. The growth of your baby is phenomenal now and your baby's length will double in the next three weeks. The head is grossly out of proportion and is almost half of the baby's length.

You are almost at the end of your first trimester and while changes continue to occur quickly in your baby, they are happening at a slower rate in you. Your uterus has been growing with the fetus inside of it and is now almost big enough to fill your pelvis. Your uterus may be able to be felt in your lower abdomen, above the middle of your pubic bone. You are not able to feel the baby moving inside of you at this time. Some women think that they have felt their baby moving now, but it is either gas or a wrongly dated pregnancy. You might also be noticing changes in your hair, fingernails, or skin around this time. Some women notice an increase in hair growth and nail growth during pregnancy and others lose small amounts of hair. You are burning up calories at a faster rate than you did before you became pregnant! The amount of blood being pumped around your body will increase and you might feel warmer than usual.

This is the last week of the embryonic period. From now on, your baby will be called a fetus. Your baby's fingernails appear this week! External genitalia are beginning to show distinguishing features and the development of male or female will be complete in three weeks. The placenta's blood vessels increase to provide your baby with the nutrients and oxygen he needs for continued growth. Your baby's ears are gradually moving from the neck towards the sides of his head. Inside of your baby's abdomen, the intestines are developing. Because the intestines are so large, some of them project into the umbilical cord and they will return to the abdomen within the next week or two.

At the size of a plumb, your baby is now able to swallow. The urinary system functions. The baby swallows and urinates the amniotic fluid and the fluid is continually replaced. The baby is kicking but the mother cannot feel it yet. All vital organs are formed and, for the most part, function normally. From now on, they will grow in size and efficiency.

As a preparation for breastfeeding, your baby now has learned to swallow. Babies swallow amniotic fluid in the uterus.

dear littlest (O)Love....(get it Olive?)

Lil' B-
I am writing in a letter format to you as I feel you are growing into such a little person! You are 9 weeks and almost 2 days now! The weekend is coming to a close and so much fun stuff is happening. Planning for you is the greatest and the symptoms are not too terrible... constant nausea, peeing a lot at night, tired, and pimples pimples everywhere (I mean everywhere-my neck, my chest, my face like a teenager!)

It is so amazing! You are about the size of an olive now with arms, legs, fingers, toes, a beating heart, a brilliant brain, no more tail (yup, you had a tail, we all did), ear buds, eye lids, and looking like a baby! ....So curious if you are a girl or a boy?

Our next appointment is August 20th (10 days from tomorrow) and I am going to tell the boss this week!

Your daddy is amazing; he is so sweet taking care of me so I can care for you! He talks to you every night and tell you he loves you. We can't wait until you can really hear us and we can read you stories and listen to music and share the world with you!

We love you so much already!

N-A-U-S-E-A!!!

I think I am 9 weeks and I want to start off by saying I am so grateful that I am not throwing up (although I have been close many times, you know the feeling that you need to stop and breathe in and out slowly and swallow?)

BUT the NAUSEA is killer! going grocery shopping makes me feel icky, eating food is a chore, and all throughout the day I just feel like I got off the Ocean Motion ride!

first ultra sound tomorrow!!

Thursday, July 23, 2009

its been awhile....

so it has been awhile since I posted, but we have moved! I have been fighting this forever long cold thing, and we had our first doctor's appointment!

The appointment went well! We got to ask all of our questions and got everything done that we needed to (blood test for HIV and to test for CF) and have a dating ultrasound scheduled for monday the 27th! We will get to see the baby and see it's little heart beat. By then, they are guessing I am about 9 weeks (but that is the point of doing the u/s). Just to make sure that is about how far along we are because my cycles are varied.

The house is amazing and perfect we love it!! The furniture looks great and we are just trying to get settled for the most part; the kitchen is done and the bedroom, we just need to sort out the boxes in the spare bedroom and figure out what goes into the attic and what goes where...

So feelings right now: breasts still very tender, having to pee a lot, but nausea is the big one!
Taking the prenatal vitamin everyday and no throwing up (knock on wood-but I didn't think that was going to happen), but saltines are my best friend right now!

Goals: drinking enough water and making sure I get a balanced diet (trying to exercise, but my whole day is exercise with these kiddos!)

LAying low...

Laying low for now, fever went down, going to wait and see what happens when the tylenol wears off....

never thought...

I never thought this would be me, sick with a fever so early in pregnancy. My dreams of being pregnant were eating organic, using all naturals products without harmful or toxic chemicals, and taking amazing care of myself! Now here I am sick as a dog with a fever and mucus coming out of every hole in my face! I have a raspy cough and a fever again this AM because my last does of tylenol was last night at 10, so it didn't last me through the night and I woke up again this AM with the same 100.22 (used my BBT thermometer, packed everything else-LoL). So I repeated the bringing it down process... tylenol+A/C+drinking cold water. Now I have to wait until 8:30 to call the OB office and call all of my families I would see today for work, and just wait and hope that nothing is going to happen to my sweet little blueberry :(

Praying that everything will be fine! So much for lifting a FINGER this weekend! (we are moving and closing on our house tomorrow) just got to tell people where things go, I don't like being helpless, it is a sign of weakness and I do not like to be baby-ed (except by my hubby sometimes when I am sick) but not inconveniencing my entire group of family and friends that are coming to help. :(

Wednesday, July 15, 2009

YIKES!

so today when i got home i felt AWFUL! I drank some tea and still felt like crap... took a rest and then then took my temp! 100.2! I got so scared that something was going to happen to the baby! So i took a tylenol to reduce the fever, put an ice pack on my head, drank water, and turned on the A/C....I tried to call the my MW but they were closed and now the temp is down to 99.3! I am going to call the Ob/GYN tomorrow....just to check in.....

My nose is all stuffy, I'm hacking up very THICK green stuff, dry throat, hurts to swallow, dripping in my chest.

Pregnancy symptoms: nauseous, tired, bloated/gassy, have to pee A LOT!!

SICK SICK SICK

so I sound AWFUL! I cant stop coughing crap up and have lost most of my voice....

to top it off i am nauseous and gassy ! The pregnant stuff is taking a back seat to this horrible chest cold thing! At least it is taking my mind off the other stuff but it is DEFINITELY slowing me down. At least i got to sleep for most of the night last night!

2 days until closing and I think I am 7 weeks!

Tuesday, July 14, 2009

ode to being pregnant....

WELL....I started out mellow and now it seems it is all (minus throwing up---know on wood) hitting me at once! I drive and visit kids with special needs in their homes and provide therapies and having to pee 40958349583 times a day is a pain in the neck because finding a CLEAN place to pee while staying on schedule is NOT easy. Also I have had NO appetite lately and I was ALWAYS hungry before...now i wake up nauseous and don't want breakfast (but force it down anyway for the baby), take my prenatal vitamin, then usually it is fine on my tummy but not today! didn't want lunch and I ALWAYS want lunch!

To top it off i got hit with laryngitis and my throat is SOOOO dry and no matter how much i drink i sound like i chain smoker (raspy) and have dry coughs and can't swallow (just squeaks) AWESOME! Also the stupid swallow reflex kept me up all night because my body THOUGHT i needed to swallow but the dryness said NOpE! and therefore I watched ALL the hours of the clock go by! I am crampy (TRYING SO hard to drink water and stay hydrated, but i pee so darn much i dont see how that is possible!) MY breasts are still tender and i am EXHAUSTED from lask of sleep from last night....LoL so yeah kinda feel like crap lol! OH and we close on our new house in 3 days and move this weekend! LoL

I'm gonna go take a nap! Innocent

officially sick!

so its for sure! I am definitely sick! DIN'T SLEEP AT ALL LAST NIGHT! watched each hour tick by on the clock....think it is laryngitis? Voice box part of throat is SUPER sore and dry! Squeaks when i swallow and so DRY that my throat spasm-swallows during the night and i can't get into a deep sleep because i can't control my irritating swallowing and dryness in my throat! Today when i got up i took a shower and coughed up little tiny pea-sized green phlegm balls! (Awesome visual huh?) and today would only could to get the thich stuff up...weird! When i move fast (like running up the stairs at warp speed because i have to be for the 50th time today) my throat gets so dried out i gag or have to super swallow.....ugh WEIRD!

On another note I called the OB/GYN today to see if i could get an appointment any earlier and they had one on friday but it was at 1 and our walk through is at 1:15 and our closing is at 2 so that won't work :( But they did have the nurse call me back. I wanted to know about moving this weekend and what is too much to lift (she said 10-25lbs is the most) and if I could take cough syrup or medicine and she said you can.....(mostly, but i'm not sure I am going to...) and also I asked about the cramps that I keep having (dull ache like early or late in my period) and she said as long as they are no sharp, VERY painful, or getting worse AND accompanied by blood, we are okay. So that was helpful, although it would have been nice to have a pic to show to the rents on saturday! I told her if anything opens up to call me (fat chance lol)

Well that all for now, going to go try to get some rest (maybe take a nap?) and listen to TV.....

Monday, July 13, 2009

work week

SOOOO tired......zzzz losing my voice from my throat which i am now beginning to think is allergies? Breasts still super sore! and want to tell everybody so bad! I want to get it over with no more suspense! Also doctor visit is coming up in 7 days and our closing in 4! We are living in a sea of boxes and can't wait to get all 5 of us (my, hubby, little green bean, and the 2 girls(kitties)) into our new place!

Saturday, July 11, 2009

Packing like crazy!

So my throat hurts, but not like open sores in my throat style hurting like swollen glands neck hurts and is achy kind of hurting! Bummer! This is what happens right before i get a really bad cold or a sinus infection---what do I do? hopefully it won't develop into anything let alone anything big! :(

last night

so last night my throat hurt (weird, hope i'm not getting sick) and I woke up to pee (like I always do a billion times a night) and when i stood up, had very bad heartburn/indigestion, but it went away when i laid back down....? Lucky I guess

Still little waves of crampiness here and there, but I have read that if i drink a lot of water that may go away? I didn't drink enough water before getting pregnant and I am trying to drink more! I think i get about a liter to a liter and a half per day....

Days until doctor visit #1: 9

Thursday, July 9, 2009

almost the weekend...

so it's almost the weekend! We are partially living out of boxes and this weekend should be living out of cardboard completely. 8 days!

Still trying to get everything situated for telling the parents, want to get it over with so bad so they will know, but nervous about it at the same time, simply because of getting the house-it is so close! We both didn't think it would work so quickly :)

My symptoms are mellow: sore/bigger breasts, have to pee ALL THE TIME, tired, gassy/bloated, and a bit queazy at times...but nothing extraordinary! Already and easy going baby! :)

Tuesday, July 7, 2009

trying to plan how to tell the rents!

so hubby and i are trying to tell our parents about our little button...

We have decided we are going to do a bagel breakfast and give them each a gift of a book and in it will have what we want to call them and a note: "Grandma and Pop Pop, can't wait until you read this to me" Love, Baby W or something like that. We wanted to put a picture of the sonogram in there, but the first appointment is after we see them :(

Monday, July 6, 2009

6 weeks!

So today I made our first prenatal appointment! July 20th! We will be about 8 weeks then and it is moving weekend so the doc. appointment will be a nice break!

Saturday, July 4, 2009

I'm feelin....

So an update on how I'm feeling, what we are doing, and super fun stuff that is going on right now! We are due 3/3/10 and are about 5 and a half weeks pregnant

Feelin:
* VERY sore and heavy feeling breasts, which I also think are getting bigger
* I get up to pee at least 1-2 times/night and/or early morning, also peeing SEVERAL times throughout the day
* still a little bit crampy every now and then, really trying to practice sleeping on my left side so that when it becomes necessary, it will have already become a habit...
*bloated and gassy! being all bloated makes my belly look a little puffy already!

Fun Stuff: (not in order)
* Planning (although slightly stressful at times)
* Brian wanted to go get a book about becoming a daddy which I think is just the sweetest thing
* Brian has been SO helpful and kind, caring about my and the baby's well-being, helping with food and what it okay or not
* Doing pregnancy tickers online
*Splathering myself in lotion to start early to avoid those awesome stretch marks! (which is slightly useless, but it can't hurt, makes them less itchy)
* Knowing there is a little life inside me that WE created-thinking of what he/she will look like, if it will be a boy or girl, blonde hair, blue or brown eyes. personality, etc
* Planning how to tell the parents
* We are in the middle of moving to our new house so planing which room will be the babies and what we want to put in it

What we are doing:
*Looking into Home Birth vs Hospital (Bri wants hospital and I want HB, but am about 50/50 right now, so a hospital is okay as long as they honor our wishes in our Birth Plan)
*Looking for prenatal care (midwife? Ob/Gyn?) Which one?
*Just got prenatal vitamins (I am hoping I can swallow those things!!)
*reading books! researching!
*saving (like we always do)
*packing for the move
*discussing budget (we can afford it, but what about me going back to work or starting my home childcare)
*eating super healthy
*Bri talks to my tummy and says goodnight and talks to the baby (so cute-I can't wait until he/she can actually hear him/us)

Well that is what I can think of right now! Cannot wait to meet you little bean!

Cannot believe my eyes!! Baby W: EDD 3/3/10!!!!

Tuesday, June 30, 2009

feels like nothing with sore boobs! day 38...

so no cramps at all this AM, still very sore breasts..... going to test my last test tomorrow, July 1st, if no AF today I will have officially skipped June!

what if i didn't even ovulate? If i didn't ovulate? then there would be no period, right? ugh...

today had the typical waves of cramps, but today the waves were less often but crampy and painful, then went away, only a few today. Also I had to pee quite a few times still today and noticed a big blue vein across my breast that I never noticed before and it FEELS like my boobs are getting bigger....is that possible this early? probably not....Testing for the last time tomorrow- if another BFN and no AF tomorrow, gonna call the gyno as something may be wrong :(

Monday, June 29, 2009

ok what the heck?! 37 days.....

So....what the heck? Waves of cramps and VERY sore breasts.....AF?? WHERE ARE YOU?? This little mind game of your is not very nice! I am sore from playing frolf on saturday and softball on sunday and to top it off the waves of cramps and sore breasts have got to stop (if you are coming) if you aren't then a BFP would be nice! WAITING to test again (#4) until I have officially MISSED my period (AKA the longest time frame in my menstrual history---39 days!!) Because I no longer think I'm pregnant, and losing hope and more hope goes with every negative! SO this really must be a late period....ugh! I can't wait to get a jump start on July, but if I am getting my period IN JULY it doesn't do me any good.

I NEED AF OR A BFP....JUST GIVE ME ONE SO I CAN COPE/REJOICE!!

36 days and counting from last AF....

So today I woke up feeling VERY sore and heavy breasts. They hurt just when I was walking to the bathroom. I was crampy today but in the same wave-like pattern of as soon as they would come they were gone. Odd? Played a game of frolf yesterday and softball today and active sports DEFINITELY bring out AF for me....and it felt like I was going to get it.....but when I went to the bathroom NOTHING, just a little clear discharge (sorry TMI)! Currently no cramps (but I'm sure if a wait awhile a wave may come?) DEFINITE sore breasts, and slightly nauseous! I am definitely moody too (which is how I get sometimes around getting my period (sometimes) where i feel fat and get a little down in the dumps about my weight, etc (usually from being bloated), but it doesn't happen often.

It is just irritating how most pregnancy symptoms mock period symptoms just with no AF!

Also I was definitely thinking (if AF doesn't show her ugly head) that I could have misjudged ovulation and not be as far along as I thought? I had EWCM on 6/10 and that is when we did it, but maybe I O'd later on by a few days, or later by like a week? we did it again on 6/17? If that were it (or around then) I would be about 11-13dpo ish? I have no idea....it has been 36 days since AF and my longest ever was 38/39 but that was only once each.....so alas, we shall see!

If nothing this week, will test again to be sure?

If this one doesn't work then we will try harder next month and we are going out to get a BBT thermometer to track temps (again-this time with the right thermometer) and see just how long my luteal phase is, al least that will give me some sort of clue......

Day 35

Feeling LOST!

so this is the third latest my period has ever been! Latest 39, then 38, then 35..... Yesterday had period like cramps (painful ripping/tearing?) but now, only a tiny bit crampy after I pee sometimes. Breasts very tender! still waiting.... the 3 past neg. tests are causing me lose to hope and feel LOST.

JUST COME ALREADY!! >:O Seriously! If you are going to come....COME! I cannot take this inconsistency! I think I am going to start BBT again just so I can learn my luteal phase! Then I can know for sure!

I am slowly becoming okay with not being and I am trying to cope...I know we can try again next month...BUT I JUST WANT AN ANSWER EITHER WAY!

i can't do this every month----God please help it to be Your time...... but maybe soon? O:)

Daily breakdown:
0-3dpo: excitement, tried to relax, not possible
4-6dpo: a bit nauseous
7-8dpo: waves of cramping (7th day strongest)
9dpo: nothing yet this am, no cramps, nips a little tender...
10dpo: acne! hungry 45 min after eating, have to pee way more than normal
11dpo: TEST #1----BFN with FRRR(bought wrong test, its too early), weird waves of crampiness, they come after I pee or exercise and only last 10 minutes or so, very mild,
12dpo: hungry after I eat, gassy! and have to pee every 5 seconds like 50 times today! (could be the gas bubbles pressing on my bladder)
13dpo: TEST #2----BFN with EPT, no cramps....nothing
14dpo: feel nothing, no cramps, no AF (32 days since last AF, averagerange of AF 30-35 days)
15dpo: slightly dizzy, cramps in waves, felt hot....no AF
16dpo: TEST #3---BFN, losing hope, rare waves of crampiness, AF coming?
17dpo: Breasts VERY sore to the touch, AF like cramps---no AF (reached 35 days since last AF, average range 30-35, only twice ever have I had a period longer than 35 days-one was 39 the other 38)
UGH....it would show up by now wouldn't it? Hubby is being so sweet trying to say we will try harder next month.....I love him....

Losing hope....

Tested again this AM, no AF STILL BFN!!!!Yell...... trying not to let to BFNs get me down.....but I am beginning to lose hope!

First test was FRRR(bought wrong test wanted FRER) (neg)
Second and Third were EPT....(neg)
days since last AF: 34
ave. range of getting AF: 30-35
should I try FRER???? OR JUST GIVE UP :( and start prepping myself to try again next month??? It SHOULD be positive by now Cry

could be stress from trying and thinking about it that is making me late, once I get my mind to know it will probably come...HOW AM I NOT SUPPOSED TO THINK ABOUT IT??? That isn't going to happen let me tell you!

TESTING TOMORROW!!

Sunday, June 21, 2009

EVERY 5 seconds!!!

it is like every five seconds I have to pee!!!! I literally have gone like 50 times today!

and I am hungry right after I eat!

(not to mention uncomfortably gassy--sorry TMI)

I hope this is a baby rather than just a dysfunctional me!

super weird waves of crampiness....

ok these cramps are weird...they only come after exercise or a lot of movement (running jumping) or after I pee? Just crampy, a wave of them like 10 minutes or so and then GONE!

Is that common or just super weird ?

The world of HcG---ANSWERS!

WHAT TESTS ARE BEST? What are the levels of HcG in each specific test? How much HcG do we produce and at how many dpo? I went searching for answers....hopefully these help us all!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pregnancy Tests and hCG Values

The pregnancy tests on the market today range widely in their sensitivity in picking up the pregnancy hormone, hCG. In the chart below, the lower the number in the "hCG Detected" column, the earlier you can use the pregnancy tests. As a general rule, hCG levels, if you are pregnant, are between 5 - 50 mIU a week before your period is due. The hCG levels in your system should double every two to three days.

Please remember that every woman is different and the time it takes for the fertilized egg to implant in your uterus wall can vary. A common misconception is that implantion occurs 7 days after conception, but the research findings showed that first appearance of HCG (implantation) occurred 6-12 days after ovulation, with 84% of the pregnancies implanting on days 8-10 after ovulation. If you don't get a positive pregnancy test, it doesn't necessarily mean that you are not pregnant. It could be that you ovulated later than you thought (meaning that conception and subsequent hCG production didn't happen as when you expected) or that, for you, implantation took longer than the average. Your period arriving is a sign that you are not pregnant this cycle, as is a negative blood test from your doctor.

Is a super sensitive pregnancy test the best to use?

For most women, the resounding answer would be YES! It allows you to know earlier if your attempts to conceive were sucessful and get medical care as soon as possible. There *is* a down side to extra sensitive pregnancy tests though. 25% of all pregnancies unfortunately end in miscarriage and many of these being very early pregnancies. If you use a very sensitive pregnancy test, where you test before the day your period is due, you could catch an early pregnancy but end up going on to have your period anyway due to a very early miscarriage. Some women will find it very hard to deal with this sort of emotional rollercoaster.

10 DPO: 10 - 50 mIU/ml HcG
13 DPO: 20 - 100 mIU/ml HcG

19 DPO: 80 - 400 mIU/ml HcG
22 DPO: 160 - 800 mIU/ml HcG

I hope this helps you all as much as it helped me....I used the First Response Rapid Results (bought it by accident) and got a BFN due to higher level detections of HcG, so I went out and got EPT and you can test 4 days before missed period and it detects levels of 25mIU which I should have within the next few days if I don't already. It depends upon when ovulation occurred and when you actually conceived! It is all starting to make sense!

I am 11 days past when we tried and according to monitoring my cm about maybe 10dpo? So I should be between 10-50 mIU? Going to try EPT tomorrow!!

Test #1

Well as predicted test #1 was a - ! It is not one you can test early with and I will never get that kind again....so the verdict is still out on whether or not there will be another member of of our little family, someone to fill our house.

We are going to get some more and maybe try again tomorrow or in a couple days. For now, it is father's day, our anniversary, and our kitties' 3rd birthday and our staycation!

Saturday, June 20, 2009

New bummer....

I just checked my stash of pregnancy tests and realized I have the one that is the "rapid results FR" of 1-minute but it has to be the day of your missed period... so much for testing early... gonna try anyway but now with the knowledge that it is going to be a - for sure...

Going to buy more tomorrow...the "early results FR" I want it early, i don't care how long it takes! :(

Until tomorrow....

Weird stuff this evening I am noticing....

So I eat and then am hungry like 45 minutes later?

Have to pee alot!

Acne?

We shall see tomorrow...........

Good morning...

Well it is Saturday, the day before our anniversary; the day before father's day; the day before testing! No cramps this am either... starting to wonder if that a bad thing? If feeling cramps is so common (which I was feeling before) is a good thing, but now for the past two days (yesterday and today) they have stopped? Well tomorrow we want to test because if there is any day that would be great to get that news it would be on our anniversary and father's day---Brian's first father's day! Well, until tomorrow.... hopefully with good news (if it will detect it a tad bit early)!

10 dp"d"/9dpo(?)
AF due: b/w June 22-25
Testing: TOMORROW!

It's FRIDAY!

So woke up this am wondering about you...are you in there? I'm not feeling any cramps this morning and cannot wait to get an answer-I just want a yes or a no. If no I can work on coping and trying to meet you again next month...if yes I can start planning and the endless amounts of joy I will feel to care for you until the day I meet you for the first time!

Daily breakdown:

0-3dpo: excitement, tried to relax, not possible
4-6dpo: a bit nauseous
7-8dpo: waves of cramping (7th day strongest)
9dpo: nothing yet this am, no cramps, breasts a little tender...

Thursday, June 18, 2009

It's a brand new day....

Today ....8 days after the "dance" maybe 10dpo.... feeling crampy but have read several place that it could be either! Just because I am feeling crampy doesn't mean the period is eminent---could you be in there? My little turtle, my sweet little love? I hope so.....

Period due date countdown: 4-7 days (due June 22-25)

Test date countdown: 3 days (June 21st-our anniversary and father' day, how great would that be to get a positive---Brian's first father's day! I think I'd cry)

Is it all in my head?!

there is no way i am getting these symptoms this early! Just getting crampy, nauseous, and having to pee a lot--- gonna get my period probably---I knew this wasn't going to be easy. When you want something so badly it is IMPOSSIBLE not to stress about it! Embarassed

I am SOOOO tired lately, unexplained tired---i am wondering why? Could it be? I wake up in the AM after a long and pretty good night sleep exhausted and when I get home from a full day of work and much more tired that I usually am and just want to take a nap!

I am super crampy though :( It makes me nervous that this is all in my head. My hubby today, it was so sweet, wanted to know when we could test and said he is really excited! I want to know so bad!

period due June 22-25 (30-34 day cycles), 7dpo

2WW

sitting at the 2WW misery.... I am not charting or tracking (I did that, didn't show peak?) and am hoping that just doing the natural method of reading my body CM will work. My cycles are b/w 30-34 days on average (last period 5/23) and we tried on the 10th... according to EWCM, might have O'd on the 11th? or 12th? as the CM was dry? Sorry about the TMI, but this is our first month trying and I don't know much about timing-we shall see how it goes!!

maybe 5-6dpo and been feeling super nauseous lately, very tired, sensitive to smells, head aches, slightly cramping---wayyyyy to early to feeling anything, so probably all psychological!

I can't stand waiting!

Pretending...

So, here I sit, without child in my life or in my belly... and I pretend...

I live vicariously through all of you. I dream of a child, being pregnant, or simply just nursing my baby to sleep at night.

I submit comments and advice about things I have yet to experience, going to work each day simply to hear "you don't know what its like you don't have any children"

I got my promise for July and I can only sit here and dream, waiting, and wishing that our little one will make their debut quickly into our lives with zest and as little futility as possible.

Alas here I sit here, making secret baby registry, reading up on everything -cloth diapering - breast feeding - natural childbirth, naming my unborn child, standing in the mirror puffing out my stomach, closing my eyes, and wishing... with a tear in my eye I can only hope........someday.....

so check out the names of a child I hope to have someday, a child to bless my life with their every need, desire, cry, smiles, and laugh...
